I’m coming up for a certain age and starting to go bald which I accept but some of my friends are making a big deal about it and worrying about the whole thing, does goig bald mean you have to stop looking good or enjoying your life? Do people take you less serious?

    Hey mate!
I started going thin at 19 when an infection accelerated the balding process, but after it the balding carried on anyway! I still have hair on the top of my head, but if i grow it beyond a no.2 it is quite obvious. Even then, I have receeded from the front so it is obvious anyway.
I am 22 now…at first, when I started thinning, I loved my hair, I had it long and styled it differently quite often. I was devestated when I noticed more and more hair on my desk and keyboard!
Finally, I cut it short, giving up I thought. I hated it short, but it was only slightly short. Eventually, as it got thinner, I decided to actually shave my head. Once I did it, I thought I looked really odd! I didnt know what to think about my new no.2 as I had never seen my hair this short before, so it was a little shocking. Later I started getting a lot more compliments and as it turns out, it gave me a bit of a rugged look! I decided to shave it to a no.1 after getting the guts up when I had a couple of beers with my brother…we came back, I put down a towel and just shaved it off! It suited me so much that now I honestly think this is the best I have ever looked….even then, I have a GF now who is way hotter than my previous! People who had previously pointed out my balding process previously, who would really give me their honest opinion, really told me my hair looked a lot better (when I was going to night clubs still single I had noticed a bit more interest too).
The main drawback is that because you cant get across your image with a shaved head, you have to make sure that your clothes do all the talking. If you are indie, normal, smart, scum, whatever, you need to make sure you pay attention to your clothes a little more, just to make sure people get the hint about what kind of guy you are.

Why are they worrying…cos they know it upsets you? Not your friends I’d say. Obsessing about it won’t help either. Find out what your ‘friends’ are a bit sensitive about, i.e. big feet, flabby belly etc. and see their reactions when you comment about it-they’ll back off (unless they’re all perfect) My ex husband used to comment about my nose as I had an accident and broke it, not disfigured or whatever but he knew I was conscious for a time till it healed. Kept calling me ‘boxer’ face & pretending to spar with me. I finally lost it one day calling him chicken legs (as he had skinny ones) he had a banana shaped ***** Think he got the message when I put a glass at the side of the bed one night as he had knocked a couple of teeth out at work (honest, it wasn’t me sparring back) Never insulted me again!!

If it makes you feel any better, I’m 24 and going bald.
My plan is, once it gets bad enough, to just start shaving my head and wear cool hats instead. At least it’ll be over with, right? I think if you make it your own, and don’t allow it to affect your confidence, then it will make no difference… people who take you less seriously because of it are idiots, and who cares what they think?
    Good luck, anyway.

I would imagine not getting an erection would be the worse thing for a man , yes I know that sex is not the most important thing in life but it is up there. I know that is you go in the sea it practically disappears but regains some normality after unlike the hair.

  5. crazy English chap says:

no dude, I shaved all mine off and women love it, they find it very attractive, manly especially if you have a few muscles, it makes you look tough,
shave it all off, dont worry about it, dont be gay, and sounding like a woman, that is just feminine traits you have, get rid of it and join the crome dome club, its great,
they love to rub it whilst your banging them !!
hair styles on men is gay

  6. zocor says:

    heck no
men look sexy with no hair, just change your appearance, fashion, clothes if you find the need because as luck has it you find that one ***** who will getchur goat.
change your appearance anyway and be casual but fancy
