UM no. Any skin come forth must be worked up. Bald patches are not habitual. The skin come forth desires to be worked up to rule out demodex (a type of mange mite), fungal and bacterial infection. You force want to find a competent vet.

Being paid bald patches may possibly be a sign of red mange. Unless treated, it will constantly get of poorer feature. It can be treated at your vet, but it is pricey and ordinarily doesn’t work very well. I have had 2 AST’s and both got red mange. I went to my community feed pile and got a cream that you place on the bare spots. If it is red mange, you have to be dyed-in-the-wool to putting the cream on. Once cured it will not come back. It will not harm your puppy if it is not red mange. You didn’t bring up what your puppies skin looked like. If it just has bare spots without its skin being red or irritated it may possibly be from scratching or hurtful itself. I would agonize about any bald spot. Loosing hair at 12 weeks ancient is not habitual. Have it tartan out by a excellent vet. Excellent luck.

Its not habitual for any creature to just get bald patches. It is doubtless ‘hot spots’ which is ver Go to a pet give pile and get a spray for hot spots, spray the bald patches. You must see improvement in just a few days.
**give the pup a warm bath by a gentle oatmeal clean and then spray the patches when he is dry. He will liable tutor himself or lay down etc so respray a link of times a day.
Have a fantastic day! Excellent luck with your new puppy!

Well if it is “demodex” a type of mange seen now and again in puppies.. It is not uncommon, but in fact not habitual. Unfortunaly in some breeds it is very ordinary.http://www.peteducation.com/condition.cfm?…
In many dogs it is somthing that can take place and resolve by itself or can be a more honest come forth.
Staffies and Pits are often unnatural.. unfortunaly far to many breeders go with the “habitual” for these puppies.. when frankly breeding a dog that has any class of a immune come forth (which Demodex is) must be avoided. But unfortunaly most breeders do not reaserch their dogs pedigrees ample, or make note of such gear like this, or gear like allergies and shape.. so why so many dogs suffer with these issues..

If your dogs shedding leads to bald spots you must seek help from your veterinarian as soon as doable. All severe shedding circumstances are any bloodsucking or non-bloodsucking. Bloodsucking return caused by bedbugs such as mites or lice. Non-bloodsucking return circumstances bent by a hormonal imbalance and or poor diet, which can easily be treated with vitamins and a more restricted diet.

mayby your dog has allipechia ( wretched for spelling :/) but when my dog was a puppy he used to lose his fur at particular times of year in reasonably generous pathces . it didnt hurt him in anyhow and it wasn paracites or mange. it was just something that haooend to him. mayby your god has that? in the end my dog grew out of it and hes absoulutly fine now :) . if she does have allipechia then just make sure your get her a coat for the chill and place sun cream on her in the summer .. ( my dog was in the chill and he is a snauzzer )
so dont agonize physically if it doesnt grow back to much, but allways question yuor vet of course. if he subdue says its habitual in a long time…. get a new vet !
    hope this helps :)

No, that is not habitual and it sounds like your modest puppy force have a honest skin conundrum. You need to get this tartan out by a vet ASAP. No dog (young or ancient) must have bald patches.

  8. MamaBas says:

Did your vet in fact tell you this? NEW VET- quick!!
Bald patches are ordinarily caused by something – and possibly mange!! Did he do a skin scrape to see if there were any mites there?
Without seeing these bald patches, I’d say this vet is ill-treat.

  9. ladystan says:

    nope
one vet gave mine a jab and she lost hair in that spot. noticed a lot of dogs from that vet have the bald spots. been told they give the jabs ill-treat

It’s not habitual for any breed of dog to suddenly start loosing hair & having bald patches.
If a Vet in fact told you that I’d find a further Vet asap. They plainly don’t know what they are discussion about.
