It is passed on to people (men & women) through their DNA.I think it usually comes from the Mother’s side of the family, but it skips a generation sometimes.

i really know the answer to this. it is carried in the woman’s gene!! if you can believe that or not it is true!!! well here is how it goes.if there is a man who is bald (Mr. a) and he has a daughter, then all of her sons will go bald. but none of Mr. A’s sons or his sons will go bald unless his wife’ dad was bald Mr b not bald.

it comes from the mother. if her family is full of bald men, then most likely her son or sons will be bald.

It is a combination of a few things. Heredity and genetic make up. Testosterone,The Male Chemical is the factor. Men who have a higher testosterone make up, will lose their hair on top. It is a good thing. Bald is common, not a disease.

It all has to do with genes my friend. Then there are times when if there is alot of stress to the person they can go bald.
