I noticed it today and it is about the size of a dime, I work outside so i do come in contact with critters all of the time, could this be from a tick bite?

    It doesn’t sound like a tick but feel the area and try to feel a bump if there is no bump have someone look to see if there is a red patch there, if not than it is not a tick. You may have pulled some hair out and not noticed it when you were working.

    If the spot is completely hairless, then you might have alopecia areata. Its a form autoimmune disease. Take a look at the images in http://www.curespotbaldness.com.
    My bro found this website when he had this problem and managed to recover through a treatment he found in it. You might want to try.

    Ticks don’t usually “bite”, they burrow in and feed off your blood for several days, grow to 10 times their original size before falling off and laying eggs. I don’t think it was a tick.

    No. It may truly just be a random occurrence. If it begins to spread it is alopecia.
