Uh yeah. This has been known for quite some time – stress can mess with your hormone levels, and with messed up hormone levels, your hair growth can shift.
It may not be stress. If your family has a lot of members with thin/balding hair, then it is clearly genetics, which you can’t really do much about. http://stress.about.com/od/otherconditio…

Stress is one of those Triple Threats that we all need to avoid.
Some of the Side affects of stress includes; Weight Loss and Weight gain, Hair Loss, besides those things you can have High Blood Pressure as well.
