I’M 16 and my hair has begin to thin a bit as I lose hair and its starting to scare me, is it cos of hormones? change of weather or my stress? I do admit i stress often and I wonder what I should do to improve my hair loss and prevent it. Anything else that also helps my hair get nutrient and grow back faster?

    Stress can cause hair loss.
remember you loss upto 100 hairs anyway, everyone does.
Just take care of your hair, with conditioners and regular trims to keep it healthy.
If you start to get blad patches on your head then i would recommend going to the doctors, they might be able to tell you whats wrong. and the loss of hair could be to do with your hormones, so once they have calmed down, your hair shouldnt fall out as much
    All the best xxxx
P.S try not to stress, relax and dont take everything so hard. it isnt good for you

I had the same hair loss problem at teenage, it became worst after child delivery. I went to see a doc who gave me a spray ‘Regro’. It helped when I use the spray often and I see tiny hair began to grow but once I stopped, my hair began to drop again. Now I visit a hair saloon twice a month to clean up the hair clog on my scalp to prevent hair thinning. I try using the spray again with the regular cleaning treatment, I am seeing results.

First off, you need to see a specialist ((a dermatologist handles hair loss)). There are MANY different causes of hair loss, stress being one of them. Also, hair tends to go into the telogen, or resting phase, more around spring and autum.
Any treatment there is that’s over the counter for hair loss depends on the type of hair loss you have so until you determine the type of hair loss theres not much I can help with. There are many perscriptions that a dermatologist can write you for your hair loss too.
Let’s look at the routes you could take.
    1. Biotin. Take a high dosage of it ((5,000 mcg)). It is sold in most vitamin sections and is said to kick start hair regrowth and make it grow faster. This depends on the type of hair loss. If it is pattern baldness, it may not work.
    2. Rogaine. It’s said to work wonders for some but in reality can do more harm than good. It’s expensive and causes irritation to the scalp. It’s meant to only work on the top of the head and the crown, not on the sides. Once you start using it, it must be used every day, forever. Depending on your type of hair loss, missing a treatment could make all the new hair fall out and take more with it. It could also leave tiny thin little hairs that won’t grow.
    3. Nioxin. It’s a good shampoo sold at most speciality hair care stores such as Sally’s, Master Cuts, Trade Secret, etc. and it can also be found online. It doesn’t make your hair thicker and it doesn’t make it grow faster but it makes you and others perceive that your hair has grown and it boosts your confidence. It’s a pricey line, but not as expensive as Rogaine! The normal shampoos in the stores won’t do anything to help unfortunately.
I hope these helped! SEE SOMEONE ABOUT YOUR HAIR LOSS! Good luck! =]
