This is normal…don’t worry about it. Nothing will prevent it, its just a normal cycle then her perment hair will grow in

  2. Nicolas P says:

it happens when your baby starts getting more control over his or her neck and body they turn and move in there crib which makes the hair fall off its normal and the hair does grow back and even itself with rest of your baby’s hair but it does look funny for a month or so I remember my son looked bald all around the sides then a bunch on top it was pretty funny its just another part of the journey of your new baby just take it all in because you will blink and she or he will be crawling and saying your name it happens so quick

It’s perfectly normal for infants’ hair to thin out a lot and go bald in places in those first few months– especially if they’re born with a lot of hair. It’ll grow back in time, and especially if she gets the bald spot in back, it’ll go away once she starts sitting up more.
My son had a good amount when he was born: http://i397.photobucket.com/albums/pp55/…
But by 6 months it had thinned out so much on the sides & he had a huge bald spot in back: http://i397.photobucket.com/albums/pp55/…
…after 6 months it really started growing back and now at 14 months it’s long and wavy :-)

Oh bald babies are the cutest!! It’s a natural cycle, nothing you can or should do to prevent it!

  5. Mommy of John 18 Months Old says:

This is normal for newborns. There hair will fall out and may become completely bald but there permanent hair will grow in and should have a full head of hair by the time there a year old.

  6. mcal0305 says:

It’s baby hair that is falling out,,,,don’t do anything. The real hair will come in it’s place..

  7. Nicole says:

This is completely normal :) I did this as a baby as well and it all came back thicker than ever :)

  8. Mama Doula says:

It’s just hair. It’ll grow back. No, there is nothing you can do to stop it.

  9. Mrs. Z plus 3 says:

It very well may all fall out. That is okay. It will all grow back. Bald babies are Sooooo Cute!
