What is the name of the bald yellow puppet that appears on Mexican sports television?

I first saw the puppet during the 2002 World Cup. Although it is a Mexican puppet it appears to be of Asian descent. After the 2002 World Cup I saw part of a compilation video of the puppet doing interviews and partying. It was one of the funniest thing I have ever seen. Over the years I’ve caught a glimpse of the puppet on Mexican sport’s broadcasts and in a commercial. The name would be great and a video link would be a fantastic bonus. Thanks.
