Question by 2ndOpinion: How do I get hair loss checked without insurance?
Is there a way I can get some hair loss checked without health coverage? By doing some research, it looks like I’d have to consult with a dermatologist. I basically want to see whether it’s hereditary or some other health condition, and what my options are to treat it.

I know I’d probably have to end up paying out of pocket, but what would be the ideal way of seeking help?

Get on the phone and call Dr’s offices and stating that you’re losing your hair and if this Dr specializes in this issue and how much he charges for an exam.

You can easily check your minimal health care rates in internet, for example here – health-quotes.talk4fun.net

I would say to actually look fora specialized doctor in that field and see what they can do for you.
