Chernabog retreats back into the mountain waiting for darkness to consume the land once more for the black god can only appear in darkness.

The subject is about darkness how this towering god tries to build his dark army. Chernabog summons the dead from the nearby town to gather round him while he calls forth fire from the mountain. He then casts the evil souls into the fiery pit and transforms them into demons at which to do his bidding. Just as the God supreme in power attempts to overtake the lil town the angelic church bell rings bringing forth the new dawn forcing the demons back into the underworld from whence they came.

I don’t think it’s about Heaven and Hell. I think it’s about Light and Darkness. With Light, there must also be Darkness.

I am not sure what confuses me more. That the Devil wastes his time summoning dead witches, criminals and soldiers (who should be in heaven or hell) only to torture his minions who seem to not fret about being thrown into the fire, despite expecting it for others. Or that the all knowing Heaven takes it sweet time to rescue them all

He isn’t really a villain.
But I’ll give it to ya that he’s the scariest of the Characters.
