@PeanutButterShelly That is correct. He says so on his shoot DVD. It’s pretty good. Worth the money. An interesting note from the DVD….Ralph Polley (WCCW ring announcer) was NOT a ‘ladies man’ and is now dead.

this is awesome,my take on the von erichs ,as the a Texan that grew up watching them ,is that I appreciate them giving of thier selves to entertain us, Drugs where a part of thier lives and it brought them down.but it was the Von Erichs and WCCW that made me a fan of pro wrestling ,I will never forget this era ,MY ERA

WCCW wrestled such an exciting style. They could work these matches today and it would work.

I remember watchig this match real late o a Sat. night when I lived in Atlanta. I always looked foreward to seeing the WCCW and The Von Erichs. I really cheered when Chris tackled Gino from escaping, who would’ve known years later I’d meet him. Glad to see this match again, thanks for posting it!

I remember being really worried for the von erichs, because i knew gino and chris would cheat. WCCW matches were so exciting, and wwf/wwe always sucked!

I loved WCCW because they would accually show good matches, in WWF they would only show one star fighting a nobody, then they wanted you to pay to see the good matches, WCCW showed all the matches on TV and i love the von erichs, there was no one better.
