I’m interested to know if the women who’ve had hair loss had any medical conditions to accompany it or even so, to cause the hair loss.

I’m 22 years old and I’m taking the contraceptive pills from about an year and a half. I guess the reason for my hairloss is stress or maybe I’m suffering from alopecia areata. But I just can’t understand why is my curly hair getting straight! Do you know if it could be the pills? I know that some the hair of some women is getting straight after a pregnancy. That’s why I thought it might be the pills in my case. Do you have any idea if my hair could get curly again if I stop taking the contraceptive pills?

I’m in my 3rd recurrance of cancer and this time it’s in my skull. Losing my hair when I had chemo was no big deal because it grows back, but now I’ve been told I should have radiation treatments. That can cause permanent hair loss. I’ve heard about a woman who used men’s Rogaine to prevent hair loss when she was on radiation. Has anyone else heard of this?

I am very young and have noticed hair loss in the front of my head. What causes this and how can I make this stop while I am young and still have much of my hair?
