I’ve seen a lot of suggestions for preventing hair loss and regrowing hair, but I was wondering if anyone has had any PERSONAL success with any natural solutions, or products on the market?

Thanks!

4 months ago,my barber informed me that i was lossing hair on the back side of my head.At that time the spot (hairless) was of 1″square.now it has grown into a spot of 3″square.Although i am taking treatment from a skin specialist for the last 2 month but it seems that the treatment is not working.I am 40 yrs old & live in India.the skin specialist does not tell me exact/probable cause of this problem. This is not the genetic problem I know.Treatment by skin specialist is as follows:2.5 tablets of wysolone of 20 mg on wed & thursday (each week) after breakfast,1 tab of biotin daily,1 cap of oxyma a/d 1 tab of pepsia on wed & thursday (each week) in the early morning (without having breakfast),folica hair tincture to apply thrice in a day on the affected area.Since wysolone is a steroid I am afraid that it can be harmful (a physician has informed me).Now I am in a fix not able to think that whether i should continue the treatment or not.Can any specialist help me ?

I’m confused. On the internet, whilst doing some research i read that DHT also occurs in women. I thought only men experienced this. Is this the root of what causes hair loss ? is DHT always present and always the reason why someone will lose their hair?
this is an article i found
“DHT develops when testosterone is combined with “5-alpha reductase”, an enzyme that is produced by the hair follicles. The mixture of the already-present testosterone and the new enzyme cause the hair follicles to begin shrinking. The Di-hydrostestosterone, or DHT, remains present on the scalp, causing the hair follicles to shrink more and more. Eventually, the follicles are unable to continue producing hair”

If this is the case then is a dht blocker able to prevent hair loss for life if used continuously? I’m a 22 year old female experiencing hair loss which has not resolved itself after the delivery of my son 2 years ago. Can i get a recommendation of a Natural and fairly cheap DHT blocker i can use to grow my hair and prevent future hair loss?
