Question by lardawg54: Why do so many shallow people think being bald is a disease or something to be ashamed of?
It’s usually the people who put bald people down who go bald themselves. I’m bald on top but I have never had a problem getting an attractive woman for companionship and no, I didn’t pay for it. The up side is. Bald men are loaded with Male Testosterone while hairy men have the female hormones in them.

So what about me? Despite the avatar, I’m a hairy guy who’s going bald. And I never thought baldness was shameful.

What do you think? Answer below!

Yes, this is a rant but I have to get this off of my chest. Stupidity that plagues American society and harms women’s self-esteem and image is body hair. I personally find hair on women to be extremely attractive. It just boggles my mind that just about anything else has been acceptable in our society, including body piercing and tattoos, but body hair on women is seen as freaky and gross. The whole “monkey”, “ape” or “chewbacca” label on hairy women is a classic example of corporate American media brainwashing. By shaving, women are saying “Screw you Nature, you goofed. How dare you ruin my beautiful body with hair, I’ve gotta fix your mess.”
Love or loathe body hair, you can never deny that hair grows on every human being and that’s how its meant to be. Women, does it make sense to spend money and time on creams/waxing and razors that cause irritation in return for stubble to grow back in several hours because the public hates hairy legs/pits/arms and so on? Do you shave because this society conditions you to do so?
Two commonly cited (and highly idiotic) excuses to get rid of hair are hygiene and perceived masculinity. You can remove all your body hair and still stink if you don’t maintain your personal hygiene and grooming. If having hair is unhygienic, why aren’t all women bald on their heads? As for body hair being “masculine” or “manly”, that has never made sense to me either. Body hair isn’t exclusive to men, it grows on women as well. Wouldn’t it make sense that female body hair is “womanly” and “feminine”? If you shave just to please your man, meet social standards and be “normalized”, that’s your loss. I don’t blame men, I blame ignorance, flawed media and a lack of education on the subject that makes us feel bad about something that grows on our natural, healthy bodies.
So the question remains: Why should women be ashamed of their body hair that nature gave them?
