Question by whillow95: Vitamins to combat hair loss?
My Mother had male pattern baldness, I have been losing my hair for years. I shed like a cat. After showering, there is always a pile of my hair in the drain. I can feel clumps of hair leaving my scalp and being rinsed down my body…Everybody says vitamins, diet, but no one seems to mention which ones, or what food may be missing from ones diet. Can you please illuminate me?

see a physician there are hair diseases that can cause your hair to fall out. start there. i see i got a bad vote….see for yourself. i am a cosmetologist, all certified cosmetologist have to learn and be able to identify diseases of the scalp
and be able to tell a client when to refer them to a physician. i am not saying that is what it is but it very well can be. sometimes things can happen that is beyond a vitamin or a diet. do your research.

I applied the insecticide preventative this past weekend.

It is now four days later and my cat has a bald spot
near the back of his neck where I applied the stuff.

Do I need to take him to the vet?

It does not appear sore at all but he has lost his hair
in this 1 inch area.

He seems to be eating okay, etc.

I’ve got oily scalp and hair loss. I’m now using those sebo-regulator shampoo but seems like no effect. Are there any other ways to fight oily scalps and hair loss? I have to wash my hair in the morning and at night everyday.. is it too much washing?

Any natural ways to have a healthier scalp?

My mother has had a great deal of anxiety for the past months to the point where she is suffering from hair loss. Is there anything i can do to help her grow hair back or stop it from progressing?

I live in Boston and suffer from servious hairfall.I visited the Dermatologist and got a thryroid and a iron binding test done. The tests are all normal. I dont seem to understand what else could be the problem. It all started this August and i havent done anything different to instigate it. I would like to try a shower filter and see if that works.. pls help and also suggest remedies for hair loss..ta
