Question by Suguna L: What is the best way to style curly hair for men to prevent hair loss?
I don’t know if there’s a link between wearing your hair up and preventing more hair loss this way or not, but I would love to find out what the best hair-maintenance styles for men with curly hair are in light of the above…

Question by Andy: What is the best way to style curly hair for men to prevent hair loss?
I have quite thick curly black hair and over the past year I’ve noticed it getting a little thinner around the front and back. This is mostly apparent when I wear my hair down (like Tom Welling), however when I’ve kept it up (which looks something like an afro) i’ve noticed less hair loss.

My friend told me to ask that:

If he have a straight hair, not too long, and if he’s going bald (totally bald), when the hair will grow again, it can grow curly? He have no one in his family with a curly hair.

If not, how can someone makes the hair to grow curly, after a totally haircut. Is that possible?

I’m 22 years old and I’m taking the contraceptive pills from about an year and a half. I guess the reason for my hairloss is stress or maybe I’m suffering from alopecia areata. But I just can’t understand why is my curly hair getting straight! Do you know if it could be the pills? I know that some the hair of some women is getting straight after a pregnancy. That’s why I thought it might be the pills in my case. Do you have any idea if my hair could get curly again if I stop taking the contraceptive pills?
