Is Dht (dihydrotestosterone) , The Actual Cause Of Hair Loss In Both Male And Females?
Posted by: in women hair lossI’m confused. On the internet, whilst doing some research i read that DHT also occurs in women. I thought only men experienced this. Is this the root of what causes hair loss ? is DHT always present and always the reason why someone will lose their hair?
this is an article i found
“DHT develops when testosterone is combined with “5-alpha reductase”, an enzyme that is produced by the hair follicles. The mixture of the already-present testosterone and the new enzyme cause the hair follicles to begin shrinking. The Di-hydrostestosterone, or DHT, remains present on the scalp, causing the hair follicles to shrink more and more. Eventually, the follicles are unable to continue producing hair”

If this is the case then is a dht blocker able to prevent hair loss for life if used continuously? I’m a 22 year old female experiencing hair loss which has not resolved itself after the delivery of my son 2 years ago. Can i get a recommendation of a Natural and fairly cheap DHT blocker i can use to grow my hair and prevent future hair loss?
