Question by Bookworm: How do women feel about bald men?
Just curious about how different women feel about bald men. I know baldness is something many men worry about and don’t want to have happen to them. Some seem to be cool with it, but others are not (otherwise you wouldn’t have Rogaine etc.) I know some women find it appealing and some don’t. Of course to me, I would say that I don’t find it visually attractive. However, if I loved a guy and he went bald, I would love him just as much.

I have had alopecia (a condition that leads to hair loss) ever since I was 13 (now 18) and I have always wondered what a guy would really think if they found out the woman they were dating wanted to ask out was bald. So I would really appreciate you honest opinions. I haven’t really dated much mostly because I don’t know how to even broach the subject. Any ideas?

My husband is a very handsome man, with thick hair. He’s starting to experience hair loss in the shower and when he combs his hair, and is getting serious anxiety about it. I know it’s hard for him, and I have told him that I will still find him attractive even if he does lose his hair one day. I’m wondering what I can do to show my support and hopefully make him feel a little better about it.

im sorry you have that condition but my honest opinion is i prefer women with long hair so it would be hard for me

Question by Nicky: How do you feel when you start to become bald?
Guys, (I mean old guys) how do you feel when you start to loose your hair? Do you feel embarassed? Do you feel you are old or even silly when you become bald?

Incidentally, is there a cure for this? I also need to prepare for that eventually.

Propecia is a prescription tablet, you can also get Rogaine over the counter. In either case its best to start treatment asap.
