Have you gone to the doctor to see what exact kind of hairloss you’re having?
Try using either the Nioxin line or Rogaine. Rogaine is not specifically for the back on the head, it works all over. Nioxin works well, matter of fact they give it to cancer patients after they’ve lost all their hair from chemo treatments.
If you’re looking for a more naturalistic way of treating baldness, try doing scalp massages twice a day and that will stimulate blood flow to your scalp. There are also certain herbs that when diluted help combat against baldness and thinning.
Saw Palmetto has been found in studies to reduce baldness. You might give that a try.

Question by Jade5678: What is the cause of hair loss on the sides of the head in women in their early twenties?
Best answer:
Answer by Kitty
stress. if your under a lot of stress you can have hair loss to a point of a number of bald spots all over. I have gotten a few stress spots before which is annoying because for it to grow back your supposed to work on the stress but then you stres over the hair loss and its an endless cycle. talk to a dermatologist or your regular dr about it.

Question by Sharon W: What causes women to lose the hair on their head? How can it be prevented?
I am very young and have noticed hair loss in the front of my head. What causes this and how can I make this stop while I am young and still have much of my hair?

Hormonal imbalances, postpartum/stress, chemotherapy, and disorders such as trichtilliomania are just a few. Female hair loss can also be induced by certain prescription drugs or result from the use of harsh chemical relaxers and extremely tight hair braiding that can cause permanent damage to the hair follicle.
But the most common type of hair loss among women is female pattern thinning, or Androgenetic Alopecia. For this we can blame a chemical called Dihydrotestosterone or DHT. DHT builds up around the hair follicle and eventually kills both the hair follicle and the hair. The hair follicle’s resistance to DHT is genetic, so if there are others in your family with thinning hair, there’s a pretty good chance at some point you’ll experience the same. That is, unless you decide to experience more.

Question by .: does head and shoulders shampoo contain ingredients to cause hair loss?
which shampoos cause hair loss or thinning hair?

Answer by kinetochore
Shampoos do not cause your hair to fall out. I’ve supplied an article from a hair dresser and one about hair myths.
I personally used H&S during my teenage years to cut back on dandruff and oil. It worked very well. Now that I’m older, I like Fructis.
