Question by Sândrââ In The Sky With Diam?nds: Herbs And Vitamins Used For Hair Loss?
I was looking into saw palmetto for my hair loss since my testosterone levels are a little high. I don’t want to take birth control i’d like to try something natural and harmless.

Is there a combination of herbs that come in a pill form that i can take along with the saw palmetto or does that have to be taken alone ??

Thank You.

I’m not sure if i have pcos i’m need to go to the dr and get my ovaries checked. The blood test just came back saying i have a slightly overactive thyroid and high testosterone.

Have you tried natural remedies yet? Well, your in luck, I am a herbologist.
I have two options for you: Option #1 is purchasing shampoo with ylang ylang and/or Rosemary. It helps with blood circulation to the hair follicle.
Option#2 is a homemade shampoo made with essential oils. Buy some clarifying shampoo like Suave and add to it 3-4 drops Rosemary, 4 drops ylang ylang, 6 drops cedarwood and 6 drops sage. Shake well and use teice a day.

No, there are no products or medications that will make your hair grow back. At best they will help slow the loss. the only way to replace the hair you have lost is through hair tranplants. I know this because I have been in the industry for 6 years.

Herbal hair loss treatment will be a good alternative way for hair loss sufferers if they do not want to try neither the medical hair loss treatment nor the cosmetics hair loss treatment.

The herbal remedies include:

1. Saw Palmetto – This herb can help to lower the levels of DHT in the body in both male and female. It is known that DHT is a leading cause of Androgenetic Alopecia, a major form of male and femele pattern baldness.

2. Jojoba oil – This oil has variety of uses except from treating hair loss. It can treat other skin conditions like dandruff, psoriasis and eczema. It has been traditionally used by Southwestern Native Americans and also the Mexicans as a natural hair loss remedy for healthy hair growth.

3. Nettle Root – The extract from this root is high in the vitamins C and A as well as important minerals and lipids that are helpful to hair and hair growth. It has also been used in Europe as an inhibitor of the 5- alpha reductase, another cause of hair loss.

4. Lavender – This herb can promote hair re-growth by using bay and lavender oil while shampooing.

5. Rosemary – It can help with hair re-growth when you massage your scalp with this herb frequently.

6. Ginseng – This herb can remove the toxins from clogged hair follicles which will make your hair healthier. Furthermore, it improves circulation for hair re-growth.

7. Aloe Vera – Native Americans and Caribbean natives use this in the treatment of hair loss. It helps to clean and heal the scalp when used as a shampoo. On top of that, it makes your hair healthier when use it with milk and germ oil from wheat.

8. Henna – This is a traditional herb used by Indian peoples and is a natural hair conditioner. It helps to maintain the hair as well as helping the hair with repairing and protecting it against breaking.

9. Horse tails – This herb can help to stimulate hair follicles and strengthen the weaken hair.
