I need help with a paper. Many anti cancer drugs are directed at either stabilizing or destabilizing the tubulin protein that makes up microtubules and are very effective in treating cancer…..so why the hair loss and nausea?

I am addict to a drug call “Ketamine”, and I am a man 32 years old. I noticed a lot of hair loss since 1 year, the time I start using Ketamine. Is it possible that this drug make you lose hair ?

Also, I have to comb my hair every morning or else my hair wont straighten. It tangles easily and I have to comb it hard and clumps of hair come out on the comb.

Last semester, I was really stressed out because it was my first year of college. And after that trip through hell, I’ve decided never to get stressed out again in the academic arena.

Anyway, as alluded to in the bold headline, my period is very irregular. Last year, it came once. No, I’m not joking. Yes, I know that birth control pills regulate it, but they also make you gain weight, and I’m not jumping for joy at that option.

So anyway, could an unconsistent period lead to hair loss?

i’ve a 17 year old recue cat with a bad case of ear mites and an equally bad case of hair loss (skin irritation, and pulling out of his own fur). Can ear mites explain the hair loss?
