In order to treat hair loss, you need to know the ’cause’ then eliminate them. Your hair will improve. Remember, whatever it was that caused them to fall out in the first place, it took months even years to get in your system, it will takes years to flush them down, so don’t expect miracles overnight.

Other reasons why that happens:

Supplements ($ 42 billions are wasted and could hurt your lungs, liver, organs), steroids, hereditary, hair dyes, perming/relaxers, straightening (have read many on YA HAIR, and have responded to them since 2009), diet, having babies (yes I read once it happened to her), stress, medications with testosterone, certain antidepressants, menopause, & anti-acne. When your hair is crying for help, that’s when it’s too late to do anything about it, and hair products can not reverse the problem.

Save your money instead of buying hair growth products or supplements. Vogue Dec. 2010 issue has a section on biotin, etc. .The FDA don’t even approve of them. Because of inadequate quality control and inspection, supplements contaminated with heavy metals, pesticides, or prescription drugs have been sold to unsuspecting consumers. And FDA rules covering manufacturing quality don’t apply to the companies that supply herbs, vitamins, and other raw ingredients.
Beginning in February 2008, they experienced one symptom after another: diarrhea, joint pain, hair loss, lung problems, and fingernails and toenails that fell off.

According Dr. Melissa Piliang, a dermatologist at the Cleveland Clinic. Americans spent an estimated $ 176 million on hair loss products last year, and chances are some of that money was not well spent. Don’t let charming salon owners, seductive ads or fancy gimmicks convince you otherwise.

CNN, Slate, Consumer Reports, MSN, YAHOO have posted them online for years how people spend $ 20 billion per year on vitamins and supplements.  According to Everyday Health, here’s an article that will tell you why . . . those PRODUCTS by any other name do NOT WORK.  It is false advertisements.

Google: “Foods for Healthy Hair” – the website had moved, type it in. Two others also:

Growing hair doesn’t come from a bottle or pills and hair products do not speed hair growth. Any hair oil, is another form to keep hair moisturized, nothing more.

I know hair. I have over 4 decades of hair know-how. I have silky, shiny, soft, smooth very healthy hair down to my knees. Previously damaged by perming & dyeing in the 80’s & 90’s. I’ve known people in their 30’s whose hair stopped growing from ironing their hair in the 70’s. When I was in HS, my hair grew from bob to waist length in 3 1/2 years (not bra strap as stated earlier).

Question by Sweet n Sour: Why are more and more Americans losing their hair and getting cancer?
Are we being exposed to toxins in the atmosphere that we are not aware of causing all the cancer and hair loss in many women too?? Healthy people without a history of cancer in their family are getting cancer, women are losing a lot of hair too and men at younger ages.

Question by Norteida: How do I get more hair?
where can I find actual scientifically proven method of increasing how much hair I have?

I read Saw Palmetto helps with hair loss, but then on the http://nccam.nih.gov/health/palmetto/#uses website it says there is no scientific evidence to support that.

Many people say Propecia and Rogaine either did nothing or caused other problems.

who is telling the truth and who is full of it? Please can someone direct me to some place with scientifically backed genuine methods to regrow hair? I am not bald yet, just noticed a bit thinning and really don’t want to go bald x.x

sure it may look good on Patrick Stewart, but he’s just got an awesome charisma which I lack.

Iron. Sounds like iron deficiencies. Take one or two iron tablets every night, then you should be fine.

Hair loss is a very common problem among people. In most cases abnormal loosing of hair is a sign of health problems. What is abnormal loosing of hair? Do not panic if you loose from 50 to 100 hair per day – this is normal. If you clearly lose more or you see hairless spots on your head – see your doctor.

So 50-100 strands of hair loss is totally normal and in limits, but if you still want to have stronger hair against hair loss, i advice you to check the following web page, where you can find recent best 10 shampoos that help you to recover from your hair loss problem and they are really great. The page ALSO has information about the possible reasons of hair loss.

http://www.iknowhair.com/hair-loss-shampoo

I advice you to give Nioxin a try. In the web page above you will also find some other information than just shampoos, such as how to prevent hair loss and what are the common reasons of it..

Also i advice you to check the Bosley company, you will see their link in the web page above, where you can get free consultation with Bosley Medical physician, they are hair loss experts and one of the best world wide and the consults are totally free of charge and you will get the correct information without spending a dime and then decice your next step.

Hope this can help you.
