I am 31, have a lot of hair, no history of baldness.
My front hairline is intact, there is just his quarter size bald patch I never noticed before (about a half inch past my front hairline, at my part). No other signs of thinning. is this the begining of me going bald? How do i stave it off? is there a product I could use. How expen$ive would it be to have an implant in that area? I have longish (and a lot of it) hair, so you can’t really see it when my hair is combed, but man, I know its there. Don’t tell me to get used to being bald!

I’m on a blood pressure medicine called Metoprolol. One of the side effects is hair loss. I’ve been on it for about 5-6 months, but recently it seems to be getting worse. There have been no changes to my diet or hair products. I’ve been using hair, skin & nail vitamins but it doesn’t seem to be making a whole lot of difference, though I hadn’t been taking them for awhile because of other medical problems that I’ve been having because I’m tired of taking all the pills the doctors have been giving me. I’m only 23 and currently unemployed, so I don’t have a whole lot of money to spend on things if I don’t know they’re going to work. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!

I am 26 years old woman. I have consulted a number of dotors. My blood count, thyroid, hormonal levels are all perfectly alright. I had a dandruff problem. But after tryng Head & Shouders for the past one month even that is not there. But my hair has become sticky and that remains as it is even after shampooing, no matter how hard i shampoo. And my hair loss count is also the same as before. I am desperate for a remedy both regarding this hair fall and sticky hair. Someone help.

Our lives are busier & faster than previous generations which is probably causing it. As more women enter the work force the rate of female hair loss is also increasing. We know that stress can lead to balding so it makes sense.
