Question by Rata N: Ive had no period for 6mths, swollen round my thyroid, hair loss, extreme thirst, hot flushes and infertilty.?
I havn’t had my period for just about six months now. About a month after I missed my first period I started to get really really thirsty, drinking over seven liters a day and about three and night. Then I got tonsilitis after it I got a swollen lump on my throat around thyroid area. Went to see doc to do blood test for thyroid and hormons everything came back normal. About two months ago I started lossing alot of hair when I wash it of brush it. Also been having hot flushes and once started shaking. My husband and I have been trying to have a baby for over a year too. Anybody know whats happening?

It might be a form of cancer, i would def see a doctor .. what you have could be very, very serious or it might just be a type of virus .. but if it lasted for 6 months i doubt it..

Question by Ines J: Is it normal to suffer from a lot of hair loss once you begin your period?
I am 12 and 1/2 and have just started my period. I am suffering from extreme hair loss, by that I mean that when I brush my hair with my fingers many strands fall out, or when I am in the shower clumps of hair will come out and when I tie my hair and then untie it hair will be wrapped around the hair tie. Is this normal. I am really nervous as I can almost feel my hair thinning! Help!

because its happened to me and my sister.
so im pretty sure its normal.

I’m a 17 year old girl and haven’t had a period since January. As well as this my hair has been falling out faster than normal and I have a bald patch emerging at the front of my head. I now have a constant headache which is making me tiered. I’ve been to the doctor and I have to wait for a blood test and then the results which is ages away! I’m very scared and nervous to what it could be, anyone have any ideas?

About 5 months ago, i missed my period and started to have body hair loss. then a month later my hair started growing back and i was getting my period but it was irregular. now, i’m starting to have the hair loss again and i got my period but it was about a week and a half late.
Could this be stress related?? i’m not on birth control and i’m a virgin. can having a lot of anxiety do this?
