Question by FATGIRL: I have noticed bald spots and i am 4 months pregnant anyone else experienced the same thing?
I am just over 4 months pregnant with my 3rd child and have noticed 3 bald spots on the top of my head. I have got 2 boys and with them my hair grew like mad but this time around,( i dont know what i am having yet ) i am going bald and my hair is thin and straggly as hell! Its bad enough that i am fat and grumpy but i dont wanna be bald, has this happened to anyone else?

yes! and i’ve been taking my vitamins completely normally.. also four months and hair is thinning. sometimes its normal.. just hormones.. if it gets TOO bad i would just go to the doc to make sure everythings okay. Maybe you’re having a girl! lol its an old wivestale that thinner stragglier hair means a girl. but we know how accurate those are! not so much! good luck to you!

Just wondering if these two things could be related. For the past 2+ years I have been sheading hair like crazy. (not in patches or recessed hair line). Every time I brush, wash, and dry I loose multiple hairs. They are every where! Drives my husband crazy. Also, we have been trying to get pregnant for 6 months without success. I am charting my temperatures, using the ovulation testers, and pre-seed for lubrication if needed. Could these two issues (hair loss and trouble getting pregnant) be related?

I am 15 weeks and 4 days pregnant. Ever since week 4/5 I have been experiencing a heavy amount of hair loss. It is only when im in the shower, or brushing my hair when i notice it. It is mostly in the shower when I am washing my hair, it comes out heavily, I have to collect it all and set it to the side so it doesnt clog the drain…probably too much information… but I am worried because the doc said the prenatal vitamins should make your hair and nails grow fast, he didnt say anything about having it fall out…
