Question by Jesse: What do I do about my puppy getting a bald spot on her neck?
A few weeks ago I noticed she was getting a small bald spot on her neck, under her chin about where her collar goes. I removed her collar thinking maybe it was too small and left it off for a while, but that didnt seem to work. I bought some topical spray for her but that doesn’t seem to be helping either. The bald spot seems to have grown alittle bit, so I’m getting worried.

Take her to the vet to make sure it isn’t mange or mites.

I have a 4 month old miniature schnauzer and he is losing his fur. He has a quarter size bald spot on his back and he is loosing his hair around his harness. I called the vet but he can’t see us until Monday. What are some possible causes to this problem?

Could be mites, fleas or ticks or mange which is not good.
Give him a bath in doggy shampoo & then take hi to the bath. If you go to the pet shop & explain what you want they will sell you the right stuff for the job.

I really want a chihuahua with hair, not bald and not very long. how can you tell what hair they will have if they are only a puppy.

He is a pure bred short haired black boy with white paws. He has a bald spot on the left side of his head. It is more like short short hair and you can see the skin through it.

I have a 2 week old pitbull puppy.I noticed last week it had a little knot on its back i was concerned but couldnt find a answer on it.This week i noticed that the knot went away but their is a little bald spot where hair used to be on it. What could it be? I have thought about it being fleas,ringworms,and even just a knot. Please help me.
