Question by Carly R: Any female with Stressed related hair loss actually had their hair grow back?
My dermatologist said my hair is falling out because of stress… Has any female had this happen to them.. and if so, did your hair grow back, how long did it take, how thin did it get, any additional information would be good too. Thanks :)

Question by Sea -N-Sun: Can hair loss in women be related to a vitamin dificiency?
I have been experiencing some extreme hair loss for many months now and I’ve gone to get blood work which has turned out pretty okay (very mild iron dificiency), thyroid is good, so are hormones etc. My hair has aways fallen out easily since I was little and it almost seems that my hair aside from being fine and thin comes off from the roots (scalp). Could it be that there’s a vitamin or mineral dificiency in me? If so, what kind and how can I take care of it? I’m concerned because I’ve never lost so much hair as I have now. I don’t feel like I’m stressed, no trauma so what is it? Haven’t given birth, no surgery etc. I’m actually now going to cut my hair shorter to hopefully help stop the hair loss but how can I make my hair stronger so it doesn’t fall off my scalp so easily?
My doctor just checked the testosterone level and that’s is okay too.

Question by Aaron Bond: Does shaving your head help in eliminating stress related hair loss?
I have a very hectic work schedule and also am under a constant stress. I know that stress related hormones trigger hair loss. Does keeping your head shaved help in preventing this type of hair loss?

Question by Tash: How do you treat dandruff related hair loss?
I switched hair products two weeks ago and I have allergies so I guess my skin must be sensitive to it because my scalp dried out and then I got bad dandruff which is odd for me as it’s never been a problem before. Now my hair is falling out more than normal (a lot more). I read on several medical sites that severe dandruff can cause hair loss, but didn’t mention a treatment.

I recommend using warm baby oil with aloe vera in it.
Leave it in your hair over night then wash it out.
