Question by Nighty: What is the best brand of shampoo that does not cause hair loss and suitable for sensitive scalp?
Hi,
I have sensitive scalp that gets really itchy when I am exercising ( running ). The itchiness gets worst especially when I am under the hot sun. I’ve been looking for shampoo that is suitable for my sensitive scalp, but from various forums, it seems that many brands of shampoo (such as Dove, Head n Shoulder, Pantene) are closely related to hair loss.
So can you guys give some recommendation?
Thanks a lot!

Question by tcouther003: what are the causes and treatments for itchy scalp with hair loss?
I am a 30 year old African American female who is expecting. I currently start to experience a severe itchy scalp with some hair loss (hair shedding). This all occured about 2 weeks ago. I have yet talk to my doctor because I have been trying to treat it with a product called Sulfur 8 ( shampoo and hair conditioner). I still have not found a relief as of yet.

black people have to have oils in their hair to prevent it from breaking and itching. and apparently, you aren’t giving your hair enough oil. washing it doesn’t help because it’ll just make it dryer. you should wash your hair once a week. and massage your scalp everyday with hair grease. go to a local hair store and find some.

You can rub it in your scalp, take pills, heck you can even take a bath in it. Why? because it will not reduce or alter your hair loss in any way or fashion. Save your money and go get some propecia.
