And I heard that if you’re mother’s father is bald, then you are more likely to be bald yourself… Is there any truth in that?

You go bald because as you get older, your body stops creating strong hair cells, causing your hair to fall out.

When does the normal flow of hair fall (said by popular media to be around 100 a day) crosses the line into hair loss?
Been noticing large amounts of hair but I think it’s deceptive because I grew long hair, as opposed to a couple of years ago having it short.

i believe they start at about 37 years old, on average of course.

My husband has really thick hair, so I never really thought we were that old, but we went to my 10 year H.S. reunion this summer and a lot of the guys have much bigger foreheads than I remember We aren’t even 30 yet! Isn’t that kindof young to be going bald?

Doesn’t mean they are going bald.

Guys can lose a little hair in the front and that’s it.

I just bought a 3 month old Lutino Cockatiel today. And I noticed that he has a bald spot on top of his head. I heard that it is normal for there kind of breed. but I was wondering if anyone knows, if there is still a strong chance that the bird would still grow some more hair in that bald spot, since it is still a baby?

well not really , the chick will stay the same , will he /she might start to get some white stuff on their body . that won’t come off , its ok thats where the feathers will start to grow so other then that its ok
