The sulfates you find in a lot of non-organic branded shampoo promote hair loss – so check that out before you put anything on your hair!

Question by tessa: What can you suggest I may use to stop losing hair?
I am a female and losing hair. I am restricted to some meds and herbs because I have high blood pressure. The dermatologist prescribe Rogaine but I did not like the smell, and my hair gets sticky.
I have heard that Saw Palmetto and Nettle Root may help.
I am traumatized by losing enormous amount of hair every day. Any suggestions to avoid hair loss??? Thanks so much.

i’m a teenager going through the same thing. i go to my dermatologist and i get shots of cortisone into the balding areas. that helps a lot although it does hurt. i was also put on steroroids and that made a big difference. most hair grew back from that. hope i helped
